Under the umbrella of Pasifika Consulting, Sime Group Ltd emerges with a specific focus on empowering construction workers with the knowledge and skills required to reduce construction waste sent to landfill.
We achieve this by promoting deconstruction over demolition, reuse, recycling, and waste avoidance practices. This is in line with the Council plan of a Zero Waste New Zealand by 2040.
By providing practical training on resource sorting and waste management, Sime Group under Pasifika Consulting seeks to contribute to the Council plan and make a positive impact for our environment.

40% to 50% of waste in landfills is from construction sites. The Resource Sorter course is designed to guide people in construction to learn better waste management systems on construction sites. This will also reflect the requirements of councils throughout NZ who have a goal of zero waste by 2040. The course is designed for various learning experiences.
