Course Structure:

​

Stage 1 is to take the Resource Sorter trainees through classroom style teaching experience. Learning about different construction materials and when recycled what new products can be made. Touching on waste diversion and ending with a video showing best practice procedures for collecting and sorting waste materials.

​

 

Stage 2 consists of a workbook that records 5 days of physical working on site as a Resource Sorter, putting into practice the learnings from the classroom.

 

This thought-provoking program was developed in conjunction with Naylor Love, Auckland Council and delivered by the Sime Group.

 

Together, with strategic marketing, robust risk management, and a commitment to quality – will establish this training program as the 'go-to' option for construction professionals seeking to make a positive impact on the environment while advancing their careers and contributing to the Sime Group sustainability goals.
